It is the method of applying a certain amount of oxygen (O2) and ozone (O3, medical ozone gas) mixture of blood taken from the body, without age restriction, through body cavities or circulatory system. Ozone therapy activates the antioxidant system. Increases cell regeneration and oxygenation. With its antiaging effect, it delays aging, provides regeneration and strengthening of tissues. It gives energy with doping effect. Ozone therapy is applied in 5 different ways.
Major autohemotherapy: It is the removal of 50-100 ml of blood from the person and returning it after mixing with ozone gas.
Minor autohemotherapy: It is the injection of 5-10 ml of blood of the person into the muscle after mixing it with ozone gas.
Bagging: It is a closed system where ozone gas is delivered directly to the area to be made locally. It is applied for all kinds of wounds. The area of the wound is taken into an ozone-resistant bag and ozone gas is continuously injected into the bag. Since ozone gas is not absorbed from dry skin, the area to be made must first be moistened with ozonated water.
Rectal administration: It is the rectal administration of ozone gas. It is preferred in people who have intestinal disease or who cannot have vascular access. The person does not feel anything during the application.
Intra-articular administration: It is the direct injection of ozone gas into the joint. It is applied in all diseases involving the joint.
